Iolani Palace got its share of barbed wire and the Aloha Tower got a
camouflage paint job. The military took over everything, after declaring
martial law. They set the prices, issued food-coupons and even ran the
courts. If you got a traffic ticket, you usually had two choices: Pay a 
$ 25 fine or give a pint of blood to the army.
