The not so official Pahoa sign :-). Is this supposed to be the local 
equivalent of the Hollywood Sign? You'll find out soon. Why are two 
letters missing? It's not that the authorities won't replace them. They 
keep doing it, but they keep disappearing. It's usually just the letter 
"P" though. Some believe the sign is under a curse, others suspect local 
pranksters are behind it. Maybe there's a huge demand for big letters 
(especially "P"s :-) on the black market, we just don't know about it :-).
It has vanished completely since I took these pictures, so don't look for it.
